Yep, I’m keeping busy and just made it to 7 countries in 6 months! I’m hoping the rest of June & July to have a chance to catch a breath as it’s definitely quite tiring at times… Not that I’m complaining, I’m beginning to wonder what will I do next year with all that time and money on my hands huh? π I actually have some ideas already but I might try to keep it a bit slower… The year is literally flying by, with me constantly packing and unpacking the bag and trying to either catch up with things or do them in advance of next trip. My yoga classes have already suffered (sad Anna) and for the first time I really enjoy them so I need to keep it up. I’m also starting a little course soon which I really hope will have a great influence on the blog… it’s a secret for the moment though π
Back to the trip. This journey was planned way in advance and myself and my boy were supposed to spend some time in Polish/Slovakian mountains, do a bit of exercise before some lazy time in Krakow. The whole thing was nearly called off when my poor boy ended up on crutches 3 days before our departure. Boys (apparently) don’t cry though and so, we proceeded with the trip, in a little slower pace though..
Tatra mountains were spectacular but there’s little to mention fashion-wise apart from the fact that I’m not a hiking type and next time I should invest in some proper shoes, clothes, glasses etc & don’t forget, it gets cold up there, look at me and remember-shorts & sleeveless tops are a no-no when temperature drops suddenly…
Apart from the amazing views, my inner city girl loved the old fashioned hotel in Zakopane and a bit of fashion reading in the evening…
Krakow was great. I like its’ Old Town full of mimes, stalls and pigeons. It was difficult for me to get used to the heat and I can’t blame the ladies for wearing rather simple, easy and comfortable outfits. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that in such a beautiful city, full of chic shops and just so European (in that cool, laid-back way), it wasn’t easy to find a stylish girl. I was lucky though when this pretty Norwegian student followed by a dozen of male stares sat down in the same cafe as I, enjoying some iced coffee. Obviously I had to ask for a photo of her, loved the easy, comfy & really cool combination of Raybans, playsuit & great tan!
Looks amazing!
