I remember the times I lived in Smithfield and most weekends I would look with amazement at groups of girls hanging out in the area or going shopping in nothing more than their pjs.
Few years later, ‘Pyjama girls’ came out and words such as ‘fashion statement’ and ‘trend’ could be often found in reviews or articles mentioning the movie. I was rather shocked and thought nothing of it as for me, it just didn’t have anything to do with fashion.
A year on since the movie was released and all I can say is… I love pyjama pants!
I’m still unsure if I would call the pj girls around Smithfield (or Francis Str or any other part of Dublin for that matter) fashionable, but paired with a blazer or heels, pjs, can actually be fashionable!
