Greyscale

Grey is one of the most dominant colours in my wardrobe. Despite that, I don’t think it’s a stark looking selection of clothes. Due to a variety of shades, grey can be actually an uplifting colour. It’s a great colour to use as a basis for an outfit as it goes well with so many things. It’ll also come handy this summer to pair with neon colours which will stand out nicely beside it but won’t overpower the outfit.

It’s definitely a great colour for the dark haired but has to be used carefully by blondes. A shade that’s too close to the hair colour or skin shade can wear you down so always try things on first. If in doubt, layer a grey top over a white one, but never black.

The outfit below is a very comfy shopping outfit I wore the other day. As previously mentioned, I am currently a bit obsessed with mixed-hemline pieces and here’s another example of one of them.

Jeans – H&M
Shirt – Zara
It’s in the detail..
Shopper bag – Ted Baker
Hat – Calvin Klein
Ankle Boots – Dunnes
Set of bracelets – Topshop
