Fringe

The fringed, leather mini skirt was kept on hold for me by a dear friend who knew exactly how excited I will be to get my hands on it (taking into account the amazing discount she gets too).
It has immediately become one of my favourite wardrobe items, one of those that hang in the wardrobe and you just adore but, well, honestly you never actually wear.
I wore it once on a girly night out but found that paired with heels it shows off too much leg for my own liking and so, it was once again ‘filed’ with ‘pretty but impractical’ crowd.
Clothes that are not really suitable for many occasions, the way this skirt isn’t, always seem like a bit of a challenge for me. So I decided to take on the challenge and try to make this skirt work for occasions other than just a night on town.
Casual Friday at work, family gathering, college presentation… although it’s still short, the flat sandals make it look less extreme and the simple, smart and a little conservative top balances it out. Colourful clutch adds a bit of colour but still keeping it simple.
