Stylitics – a wardrobe revolution

It must be nearly 2 weeks since I discovered Stylitics. I was skeptical at first, I rarely stick with anything that required regular content update and any sort of discipline. Not that Stylitics does, you’re not obliged to do much but I thought if I want to make this work, I need to put some work into it.
It turned out to be much easier than I thought (no work, just fun) and I’m delighted to say that I am not only still using Stylitics, I am totally hooked!

It’s the best tool I have found so far for organising your wardrobe. If you have a smartphone, you can ‘record’ all your wardrobe items in literally minutes. A quick photo, 3 quick details and the item is up in your virtual wardrobe. Now why would we waste the time doing that if we have an actual, real life wardrobe? I wondered too (we’re all doubtful creatures). I found that I finally have a better idea of what I own (even though I still have many more items to record…), how often I wear things, how much I spend on clothes etc. Within the first few days I realised that some items in my wardrobe were getting loooads of wear and other (very similar), none!

I don’t want to get into too much detail, all I will say is give it a go, it’s SO worth it.

A few images of Stylitics below and link to my profile (you will now be able to have a gander through my wardrobe, in case you care). I’m one of Stylitics’ Featured Stylists and I am open to help out with your wardrobe dilemmas!

  1. Hrrm…interest piqued! I think about the value I get out of clothing often, and while I keep my closet organized and usually know what I already have, I don't track the use I'm getting out of it or the total cost of my closet. Though I do get disgusted with myself every time I clear it out to donate clothes. 🙂 I will definitely try this out!
