I didn’t understand the idea of summer boots for a while. It took a few years for the realisation that the summer is not coming (again) to sink in. Once it did, I started stocking up on boots.
I now own 10+ ankle boots at any given time. Why would I need that many boots?
1. Weather: rain or shine, they always work.
2. Comfortable heel height: the holy grail of shoes. Get the heel right & you will live happily ever after. Most ankle boots will do that for you.
3. They go with everything but you still need different styles and colours for the many different garments: shorts, skirts, trousers, jeans, dresses and so on!
